Laugh, or cry?

For now? Laugh.

I SO needed that.

Trying to care...

The next web boom is in full swing, and I'm trying to care. I am. But all I can see is some cool tech (mostly swimming in the bucket called web 2.0) and a whole lot of the same faces in a race to do this week's obvious thing first so Yahoo will buy them.

Mostly, I just wanna do some more map-coloring...

I'm not working today.

I'm not I'm not I'm not.

I'm gonna plug my 'puter into the tv and watch Battlestar Galactica with my guy.

Boom 2.0 can just happen without me for a day.

Damnit.

Home!

Flew back across the globe yesterday. I think my brain is still somewhere over the pacific, though. New Zealand and Australia were pretty dang cool, especially visiting my cousin (and meeting his wife and three kids) on their dairy farm near Tauranga, NZ, cruising the fjords at Milford Sound, and taking a way-too-short peek at Melbourne.

Now it's time for tons o' work (interesting work, even — making some more mobile apps), and paying attention to the cats, and getting used to W being gone during the days (YAY job-he-likes but BOO job-he-goes-away-for).

Yup. Home now.
