Other Magazine Rocks My Mismatched Socks
Ya know, J and I both really like this new 'zine. It's edited by the lovely and talented Charlie Anders (webmistress of
godhatesfigs.com), along with Annalee Newitz (of
Techsploitation fame, among so many other things). It's got the think-y, the funny, the alarmingly talented contributors, the great themes. And I can't set a copy out for too long — it gets snagged by somebody.
But right now they need subscribers and buzz. So here's a gentle whirring sound, at least: go check out
OtherMag.org and if you like what you see, be the first kid on your block to have your very own Other Magazine subscription, mmmkay? Or if not, check out one of their many cool fundraising events.
