...and then, and then, and then...
Day before yesterday I had back-to-back meetings all day, and Jason had food poisoning. I'm still not sure which of us looked more haggard that night.
Afterwards, I stayed up doing random book-finishing things for Rob, who was having a spot of panic. Then it was somehow morning, so I stayed up working with James on a bid for a CA governmental candidate's website. Poor James, he never has anyone to play with in the mornings. He was as excited as a puppy with a new wallet to chew on.
Anyhow, aforementioned candidate accepted aforementioned bid late today. We get to be part of the election circus — whee!
So since most of the past night and day were spent on phone calls and emails, with lots of oh-shit-hang-on-wait-okay-NOW in between, I managed to be in work mode for about 20 of the past 28 hours, and yet stay almost continually logged in to
tribe.net. It was kinda fun, but now I feel like I've been staring at one of those department store TV-display walls all day. Too many channels.
Oh! And last night Rob & had to stop work and see
Gigantic, on account of the whole run having almost gone by already. It rocked like socks. Well, it rocked like socks would rock if they were a documentary about two surprisingly modest musical geniuses named John from Brooklyn, with fantastic concert footage and interviews with pretty much every funny/smart/adorable person you've ever heard on NPR. Who all happen to love socks. I mean the Johns. I mean They Might Be Giants.
